Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on external fiber optic networks, conducting diagnostics, cable laying and splicing, and DIO (Optical Distribution Box) assembly. That’s why we seek talents like you — dreamers who want to make a difference! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on external networks, conducting diagnostics and resolving technical issues; * Carry out optical cable laying, splicing, and testing activities; * Adapt the network infrastructure and install hardware components; * Perform tasks relevant to the role using specific equipment; * Update incidents in the ticketing system; * Assemble DIO (Optical Terminal); * Conduct diagnostics to identify failures and technical issues using high-precision measurement equipment; * Perform work at heights, lay self-supporting cables and dielectric messenger wires, and install and maintain hermetic boxes; * Complete vehicle, equipment, and PPE checklists; * Perform duties related to the position, following supervisor guidance. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education * Availability to work on a 6x1 schedule (including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as per roster); * Valid Class B driver’s license * NR 10 and NR 35 certifications preferred * Technical experience and familiarity with telecommunications network installation and maintenance procedures **Additional Information** * Transportation Allowance * Group Life Insurance * Meal or Food Allowance * Giga+ Discount * Health Plan * Dental Plan * Day Off * Total Pass * E-learning Platform on Intranet * Giga Inclusion Support * Pregnancy Program — Benefit Card * Active partnerships with INATEL; OPEN ENGLISH; TOUR HOUSE; SAMSUNG; MOVIDA; YOUCAST-TELEMEDICINE offering exclusive discounts to Alloha employees.
