**Job Mission**
Support the homeroom teacher and the pedagogical team in conducting classroom activities, academic routines, and organizing the school environment. As a bilingual professional, directly contribute to students’ English language acquisition through intentional interactions, providing linguistic and operational support to students who are beginning or deepening their engagement with English.
**Requirements**
Completed high school education (a university degree or ongoing Pedagogy studies are desirable).
Functional intermediate English (minimum B1; B2 preferred).
Minimum six months’ experience working with elementary school children will be considered an advantage.
Ability to support pedagogical activities and routines in an organized manner.
Basic knowledge of educational resources and technologies.
**Responsibilities**
Support the homeroom teacher in pedagogical activities, exercises, group work, and interdisciplinary projects.
Use English in daily interactions, routines, and learning-support moments.
Accompany students facing comprehension difficulties (in Portuguese and English), reinforcing instructions and ensuring participation.
Assist in implementing activities, formative assessments, and classroom recordkeeping.
Support classroom management by ensuring an organized, safe, and disciplined environment.
Prepare and organize materials, bilingual resources, lists, folders, activities, and learning spaces.
Accompany small groups during reading and writing practice, bilingual projects, and guided tasks.
Support bilingual teachers in delivering English-language proposals (reading, music, games, STEAM, integrated projects).
Record observations regarding student behavior, participation, and needs.
Participate in professional development sessions, pedagogical meetings, and bilingual alignment activities.
Follow safety, organization, discipline, and confidentiality protocols.
