The **CEDEPS** (Center for Product and System Development) is part of **IP Facens** and works on projects involving **hardware, firmware, software, and embedded systems**, connecting teaching, research, and industry. **Responsibilities and duties** * Gather requirements and define project scope together with clients; * Support management in building proposals by estimating required effort and materials; * Develop programs for **embedded and microcontroller-based systems**, as well as medium and low-complexity human-machine interfaces (HMI); * Design **electronic systems**, including electrical schematics and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts; * Monitor electronic project manufacturing processes, avoiding rework and ensuring quality; * Generate and maintain **technical documentation** according to PMO methodologies; * Participate in project follow-up meetings with clients, ensuring accurate deliveries; * Guide the hardware team on specifications involving firmware; * Comply with applicable standards, regulations, policies, and legislation. **Requirements and qualifications** Education: Ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Tools and Technologies: * C programming for ARM, Espressif, Atmel, and Microchip PIC; * PCB design and electronic schematic drawing; * KiCAD (circuit design and simulation); * SolidWorks for 3D modeling; * Knowledge of 3D printing; * Basic knowledge of industrial automation; * Experience in IoT\*\* (Internet of Things). Behavioral Skills: * Resilience and proactive attitude; * Willingness to constantly learn and research; * Teamwork and ability to work under pressure; * Strong oral and written communication skills. Languages: Intermediate English.
