A day in the life of an Electromechanical Technician Oversee and guide proactive, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities for infrastructure and mission-critical equipment. Assign tasks to staff and monitor service order execution. Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential maintenance issues, and take necessary actions to resolve them. Assess compliance using checklists, document any non-conformities, and report findings to immediate supervisors (Supervisor, Director, and Manager). Perform entry and exit inspections of site facilities and equipment before and after each event. Ensure high work quality from your team; motivate subordinates to deliver error-free work, avoid rework, and prevent incomplete or poorly executed tasks; **Seek to minimize costs:** including unnecessary consumables, excessive spare parts usage, and premature or delayed component replacements; collaborate with third-party maintenance service providers to ensure optimal service quality.
