Job Summary: The Junior Process Analyst participates in discussions and definition of manufacturing routings, process times, measurements and studies, develops time-sizing calculations, and monitors sample production. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in discussions and definition of manufacturing routings 2. Define process times and develop Set-Up sizing 3. Study, quote, and define new processes and automation A. Attend meetings with the Projects department to discuss the process—define manufacturing routings—and required investments. B. Define process times (technical calculations, chronometric analysis studies, SAP consultation, operation simulation for process definition) C. Conduct measurements and studies of blanks for cutting—technical calculations, operation simulation. D. Develop Set-Up time sizing and assess investment requirements including tooling. E. Monitor sample production, collect welding parameter data, and define blanks. A. Design line layouts, specifying workforce quantity and equipment requirements. B. Develop packaging plans and define packaging types ("Rack, cardboard box, plastic bag"); define multiples ("quantity of cardboard dividers", "quantity of parts per package"). C. Monitor pilot batch production, prepare documentation, validate data entered into "Samples", and maintain the integrated system. D. Define welding parameters; E. Evaluate customer drawings to determine acceptance, rejection, or modification of criteria; F. Study, quote, and define new processes, new machines, and automation of existing processes; G. Perform work in accordance with procedures established in SIGQ documents, as well as other tasks assigned—even if not listed herein—but inherent to the position.
