We are seeking a **Junior Medical Billing Analyst** to perform analysis, auditing, and processing of medical bills, ensuring compliance with technical healthcare regulations and guaranteeing accuracy in billing and payments for services rendered. We seek a professional committed to quality, operational efficiency, and process integrity.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Conduct medical billing audits and technical analyses, including medical records, authorizations for materials and medications, hospital fees, and physician fees;
* Identify inconsistencies and discrepancies in billing, preparing reports and directing\-them to responsible departments for dispute resolution, justifications, and necessary adjustments;
* Execute monthly closing of hospital and outpatient invoices;
* Develop and monitor auditing department indicators;
* Conduct **on-site audits**, when required, ensuring service delivery complies with contractual and regulatory standards;
* Participate in thematic and technical committees, as needed and within scope of responsibilities;
* Support leadership in related activities, contributing to continuous process improvement.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in **Nursing**;
* Proven experience in auditing hospital and outpatient medical bills;
* Technical knowledge of billing tables and regulations (TUSS, CBHPM, Simpro, Brasíndice);
* Proficiency in billing rules for procedures, materials, medications, fees, and physician fees;
* Proficiency with computer tools, especially Excel and hospital management systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Postgraduate degree in Healthcare Auditing, Hospital Management, or related fields;
* Prior experience at health plan operators or medium-to-large hospitals;
* Knowledge of ANS regulation and healthcare compliance practices;
* Familiarity with BI tools and indicator analysis.
