It defines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business analyses, documents current systems, and develops recommendations on how to proceed with applications.**Summary of this role** ----------------------- *The Analytics & Data Culture team is a central area in Whirlpool’s growth, acting as the bridge between business areas and data solutions. We are responsible for the entire lifecycle of analytics projects, working alongside other IT teams to guide and ensure quality—from creating simple views with business rules to building more complex dashboards. Our goal is not only to deliver data products but also to empower the entire company to become data-driven, leading trainings and disseminating best practices in tools and analytics.* **Your responsibilities will include** ------------------------------------ *We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst Tech Lead focused on Solution Architecture to act as the primary interface between business needs and the technical development of data products. This role is essential in understanding, translating, and designing data solutions, estimating their complexity, and ensuring their correct implementation according to the Atlas architecture, as well as collaborating with BRM teams for business areas and leading the dissemination of analytical culture across the company.* * *Act as a Data Solution Architect for analytics, responsible for understanding, translating, and designing solutions for business needs.* * *Lead the "discovery" process for new data projects and products.* * *Estimate the complexity and effort required for solution development.* * *Define technical assumptions and requirements to provide guidance to integration teams.* * *Act as a facilitator and data consultant (Business Advisor) in business area prioritization forums.* * *Validate and promote reuse of existing data solutions and products.* * *Lead and create training on analytics tools for data modeling.* * *Monitor compliance and track usage of analytics tools.* * *Validate technical and business documentation of developed solutions with business areas.* * *Ensure adherence to the analytics architecture standards.* * *Approve CI/CD pipelines for tables in Silver and Golden layers.* **Minimum Requirements** ---------------------- * *Experience with databases (preferably BigQuery) and SQL.* * *Experience with data pipelines (e.g.: Airflow, Pyspark, Dataforms).* * *Experience with Star Schema, snowflake & etc.* * *Experience in defining the data layer within a data product.* * *Communication skills to translate technical concepts simply to business teams and vice-versa.* * *Knowledge of tools such as Tableau Desktop/Cloud/Prep/Looker.* * *Intermediate English proficiency.* **Desired Skills and Experiences** ----------------------------------------- * *Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data tools.* * *Knowledge of Python.* * *Experience working autonomously and proactively identifying and solving problems.* * *Experience with project management methodologies and product discovery.* * *Knowledge of AI tools for analytics/BI.* * *Knowledge of Excel.* **Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation** See what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting the Whirlpool Careers website.
