Supports heavy equipment operators in cutting and filling operations Grader Operator Position – Earthwork Projects Description: The Grader Operator is responsible for performing and supervising grading and finishing activities on earthwork projects, ensuring that work complies with project elevations and technical specifications. Collaborates with heavy equipment operators and foremen to ensure accuracy in layout and quality in the execution of work fronts. Responsibilities * Perform site markings and leveling according to project drawings. * Assist in defining elevations and alignments for earthwork and paving. * Operate simple surveying and measurement equipment (level, tape measure, water level hose). * Support heavy equipment operators in executing cuts and fills. * Ensure surface finishing and compliance with soil surface specifications. * Install and adjust construction signage related to layout. * Comply with safety regulations and properly use PPE. * Follow instructions from site supervisors and foremen. Requirements * Completed elementary education (preferred). * Prior experience as a grader operator on earthwork or paving projects. * Basic knowledge of reading construction drawings and using measuring instruments. * Good understanding of soil alignment and leveling. * Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical labor. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in road infrastructure projects. * Knowledge of soil compaction and finishing techniques.
