Job Summary: The Expedition Assistant will register contractual characteristics and parameters, release loadings and shipments, archive documents, and support drivers. Key Highlights: 1. WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN EXPEDITION ASSISTANT? * Register contractual characteristics and parameters in the system, enabling accurate issuance of freight transport documents and invoices, as well as maintaining and updating freight rate tables for transportation service contracting; * Release daily loadings, continuing with the release of overnight vehicles still parked in the yard; * Release pickups by generating and analyzing reports, separating required documents to authorize cargo release, and completing deliveries on the same day; * Close released documents by resolving occurrences and updating statuses to enable deliveries; * Perform electronic archiving of documents and forward physical documents to CEDOC; * Support drivers in cases of vehicle lockout or other situations upon their request; * Update the palletization control spreadsheet with necessary data such as value and weight; * Perform other related tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor. Completed high school education Minimum of 6 months of experience Proficiency in microcomputer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet usage.
