Shipping Supervisor

Description

Responsibilities and Duties: * **Overnight Shift Coordination:** Supervise the entire overnight shipping process, ensuring accurate and timely loading of the fleet for morning distribution. * **Team Management:** Lead the operational team by delegating tasks, managing shift schedules, monitoring productivity, and maintaining a work environment focused on efficiency. * **Inventory and Loss Control:** Monitor real-time inventory accuracy, identifying and correcting damages or inventory balance discrepancies. * **Logistics Optimization:** Optimize fleet routing and propose improvements to product handling and storage workflows. * **Management KPIs:** Generate daily performance reports (e.g., picking errors, productivity per hour, service level) for executive reporting. * **Safety and Hygiene:** Strictly enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), proper use of thermal PPE, and safety regulations in high-traffic operational areas. Requirements: * **Completed High School education** (Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred). * **Proven solid experience leading teams** in warehouses, manufacturing plants, or distribution centers. * Extensive hands-on experience in shipping operations, verification, integrated billing, and inventory control. * **Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency:** Essential for maintaining and analyzing control spreadsheets and KPIs. * Full adaptability to the overnight shift and fast-paced environment. * Valid Brazilian Driver’s License Category B.
