Impact e-commerce and financial services across Latin America As a **Project Leader \- Robotics** at Mercado Libre, imagine yourself leading challenging and dynamic projects. You will design and scale innovative and secure systems that solve real-world, high-impact problems. You will work in a dynamic environment powered by cutting-edge technology, applying engineering best practices, AI models, and continuous learning—all aimed at democratizing e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. **Imagine yourself leading projects and being responsible for:** * Estimating weights, dimensions, and natural attributes using Machine Learning (and/or statistical/heuristic techniques where appropriate). * Validating and consolidating inputs received from multiple sources, detecting inconsistencies, outliers, and errors/frauds. * Defining a "golden record" of attributes with traceability and versioning, impacting key Shipping processes (cost calculation, delivery promise/timing, route optimization, capacity planning, etc.). * Integrating cross-functionally into the MELI ecosystem via APIs/services, ensuring adoption and scalability. **What we’re looking for in you?** * Solid experience in Machine Learning / Data Science / Data Engineering / Data Architecture (ideally applied to production-grade products). * Experience building estimation/validation solutions (regression, classification, anomaly detection, rule-based systems, hybrid models). * Knowledge of data pipelines and service-oriented architecture (APIs, microservices, event-driven systems). * Technical leadership and project management capabilities: planning, prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and incremental delivery.
