Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES—INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **The main challenges as an Assistant Professor I are:** * Plan, organize, and deliver theoretical, practical, and clinical classes in accordance with the course syllabus. * Guide and supervise students during practical activities and clinical appointments, ensuring teaching quality, patient safety, and compliance with biosafety standards. * Develop, administer, and grade assessment instruments, ensuring pedagogical and academic criteria. * Monitor students’ academic performance, providing pedagogical guidance and feedback. * Record attendance, grades, taught content, and academic reports in institutional systems. * Comply with and uphold the National Curriculum Guidelines for Dentistry programs and institutional regulations. * Participate in pedagogical meetings, course councils, training sessions, and academic events. * Contribute to research, extension, and institutional initiatives, where applicable. * Stay updated on scientific, technical, and pedagogical innovations in dentistry. * Act ethically, with social responsibility and commitment to students’ holistic development. * Maintain dental laboratories’ and clinics’ equipment, materials, and facilities. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek professionals with:** * A Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry accredited by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) * Active professional registration with the Regional Dental Council (CRO) * Minimum qualification: Specialist certification in the field of practice (Master’s and/or Doctorate degrees will be considered advantageous) * Proven professional experience in dentistry * Experience or aptitude for teaching at the higher education level * Knowledge of the National Curriculum Guidelines for Dentistry programs * Ability to conduct theoretical, practical, and clinical classes * Proficiency in learning assessment techniques and pedagogical planning * Knowledge of and adherence to biosafety and professional ethics standards * Strong communication, didactic, and interpersonal skills * Commitment to students’ academic, ethical, and humanized development **Additional Information** Work Location: ESTÁCIO MARACANÃ **At YDUQS, you’ll find:** * **Tuition scholarships** of up to 100% for employees, legal dependents, and affiliates (parents, siblings)—allowing up to three simultaneous scholarships; * **Optional medical assistance**, for which the employee bears co-payment; * **Optional dental assistance**, to care for your oral health; * **Flexible dress code**, promoting our diversity; * **Life insurance;** * **SESC membership agreement;** * **Corporate University**, available on our exclusive platform, Educare; * **Growth opportunities**: over 60% of current openings are filled via internal selection processes.
