Landfill Manager

Description

We are seeking a Landfill Manager to lead the operations of our sanitary landfill, ensuring efficiency, environmental compliance, and safety. Responsibilities: Coordinate daily landfill operations (waste reception, weighing, disposal, compaction, and daily cover). Supervise operational and technical teams, promoting development and high performance. Monitor field activities, maintenance of internal roads, and operational construction works. Track operational and environmental indicators (leachate, biogas, geotechnical stability, landfill lifespan, etc.). Develop and monitor operational plans, schedules, and technical reports. Manage contracts, outsourced services, materials, supplies, and operational resources, ensuring budgetary efficiency. Support the unit’s annual budget and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and legislation. Participate in audits and promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Review scale reports and monitor compliance with final disposal procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or related fields). Experience in landfill management or environmental operations. Knowledge of environmental legislation and operational best practices. Leadership profile, organizational skills, and results-oriented mindset.
