Maintaining organization and safety in the workplace **Job Description:** Perform packaging and strapping of profiles (wrapping groups of profiles with plastic tape) for dispatch to the recipient according to the MANUFACTURING PROCESS CONTROL SHEET, which will be sent to the warehouse and/or anodizing (painting). **Responsibilities:** 1\. Review the MANUFACTURING PROCESS CONTROL SHEET and verify items: Profile number, gondola, bar length, and whether it has passed through the oven; 2\. Assess profile hardness using a durometer (checking whether it hardens or bends); hardness must be above 5 — report to the Packaging Supervisor immediately if insufficient hardening is observed; 3\. Remove profiles from gondolas always with at least one other colleague and place them onto sawhorses; 4\. Inspect profiles for defects such as bubbles, scratches, abrasions, holes, etc.; report any inconsistencies to the Packaging Supervisor; 5\. Weigh, strap, and route non-standard profiles to the designated location, completing the scrap/reuse form per instructions from the Quality Inspector; 6\. Verify with the Packaging Supervisor the quantity × size × color list, confirming the correct profile size and quantity to be packaged per bundle; 7\. Package profiles using four straps: one at each end and two in the middle; wrap plastic around profiles (at least one full turn) and stack bundles onto sawhorses until the order is complete; 8\. For stainless steel profiles (which will not undergo anodizing), package individually, alternating bars with plastic sheets to prevent abrasion during transport; 9\. Notify the Packaging Supervisor upon completion of the packaging process for the order so that it may be weighed and recorded in the MANUFACTURING PROCESS CONTROL SHEET; 10\. Keep the work area clean and organized; 11\. Proactively contribute to achieving departmental and company goals and targets; 12\. Perform other tasks within one’s capabilities and knowledge level, as directed by the immediate supervisor; 13\. Ensure hygiene and workplace safety by complying with company safety regulations and properly using PPE. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary or high school education; * Prior experience in production lines or packaging departments is desirable; * Attention to detail and manual dexterity; * Commitment to deadlines and quality.
