Collaborating in workplace organization and cleaning **Brief Description** Assist in machine operation and monitoring, supporting furniture assembly, cutting, finishing, edge banding, and packaging. Perform minor supervised repairs on furniture as needed, always keeping the workspace clean and organized. It is essential that the assistant possess manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure products meet the company's established standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Assist in furniture assembly and disassembly, operating low-complexity production machinery and equipment, thereby contributing to faster and more efficient production. * Perform material and product loading/unloading activities, storing and warehousing them within the company according to instructions from an operator or supervisor, aiding in company organization. * Prepare materials and components for the production process by sorting the raw materials required for that day’s work as specified in the work plan, ensuring the workspace is ready for production. * Operate certain simple machine controls during the production process under supervision of Level 2 or Level 3 operators, activating low-complexity commands; refraining from executing tasks when uncertain to prevent errors or accidents. * Conduct visual inspections of parts and finished products, assisting in quality and integrity verification at the end of each sector-specific process, thus contributing to quality control. * Clean and package finished products according to instructions and training, also observing safety norms for cleaning material usage, ensuring optimal task execution without harm to the employee. * Collaborate in organization and cleaning efforts by conducting periodic cleanings during the work shift—specifically five (5) minutes before lunch break and ten (10) minutes before shift end—to prepare the section for the following day’s work. * Record and manage inventory of materials and products, following supervisors’ instructions and guidelines regarding completion of material distribution control forms, enabling managers or supervisors to monitor products. * Comply with occupational safety and hygiene regulations, correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to established safety procedures to minimize accident risks and exposure to health hazards. * Support other departments to ensure factory operations run smoothly, assisting whenever necessary or instructed by supervisors to complete company tasks, always aiming to deliver orders within agreed deadlines. * Dispose of unused materials properly, observing separation of glass, aluminum, and wood to route each material type to appropriate recycling or disposal locations. * Maintain care over personal and shared company-provided items—including tools, uniforms, and common areas such as restrooms—and assume responsibility for loss or damage occurring within company premises. * Adhere to company policies and directives, as well as instructions issued by team leaders and supervisors; failure to comply may be classified as disciplinary misconduct. **Organizational Competencies** * Carefulness * Passion * Tradition * Innovation **Technical Competencies** * Compliance with Standards * Learning Development * Production * Manual Dexterity **Behavioral Competencies** * Cooperation * Attention to Detail * Discipline * Learning Orientation * Teamwork
