Proactive action in risk situations and vehicle maintenance **Job Description:** ---------------------- Perform road transportation of hazardous goods, primarily using tank trucks, in compliance with current legislation and company internal standards. Operate the vehicle using defensive driving techniques, following assigned routes, deadlines, and safety procedures, ensuring personal safety as well as that of the cargo, equipment, and third parties. Conduct daily vehicle and combination (tractor + trailer/tank) checklists, immediately reporting any anomalies and requesting maintenance when necessary. Supervise and execute loading and unloading procedures, following client instructions and applicable safety regulations for the type of goods being transported. Verify and maintain responsibility for all mandatory documentation (CT-e, MDF-e, invoice, emergency data sheet, transport envelope, vehicle documents, licenses, and other requirements for hazardous goods). Ensure compliance with PPE rules, signage, isolation measures, and safety conduct, according to NRs and hazardous goods transportation guidelines. Record necessary operational information (e.g., times, incidents, refueling, route, checklist, pickups/deliveries) and maintain communication with scheduling/monitoring teams whenever issues arise. Act preventively in risk situations (e.g., route changes, weather conditions, incidents), following the emergency plan and company instructions. Maintain cleanliness, preservation, and good condition of equipment, keeping the vehicle organized and operationally ready. Comply with internal policies, code of conduct, and safety instructions, contributing to a life-protection culture and operational excellence. **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Minimum 3 years of experience in the transportation industry. Valid and up-to-date NR 20, NR 35, and MOPP certifications. Elementary education.
