**Job Description:** We are seeking an Occupational Safety Technician to prevent accidents, promote health, and ensure compliance with occupational safety standards within the company. The professional will be responsible for advising, monitoring, and implementing programs and procedures that guarantee a safe working environment for all. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct safety inspections of facilities and equipment. * Develop, update, and monitor compliance with PPRA/PGR, PCMSO, and other occupational health and safety programs. * Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions. * Deliver mandatory and supplementary safety training. * Control and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring proper use by employees. * Monitor work at heights, in confined spaces, and other high-risk activities. * Issue and monitor Risk Analysis Reports (APRs), Work Permits (PTs), and other safety documentation. * Participate in CIPA meetings and support committee activities. * Monitor safety performance indicators and propose continuous improvements. * Ensure compliance with current legislation and internal company standards. **Requirements:** * Completed technical education in Occupational Safety. * Active registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). * Prior experience in this role (optional to specify). * Knowledge of labor legislation and regulatory standards (NRs). * Basic or intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency. * Ability to conduct training and interact effectively across departments. **Preferred Qualifications (optional):** * Additional certifications (e.g., NR-10, NR-12, NR-35, among others). * Experience in industrial environments. * Experience conducting internal and external audits.
