It operates 7 modern blast furnaces that, besides producing thousands of tons of pig iron per month, also release gases reused for energy generation in an on-site thermoelectric plant. We currently have an opening for a **Machining Assistant**, a professional who will assist in machining department tasks, workplace organization, and material handling, always adhering to safety and quality standards. Join our team! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor for any abnormalities and immediately report incidents to supervisors; * Assist in tooling changeovers; * Assist in finishing molds; * Assist in mold transportation and packaging; * Retrieve materials from the warehouse as needed; * Finish molds and prepare them for painting; * Clean paint tanks; * Verify paint agitator operation and arrange repairs with maintenance if necessary; * Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area; * Move molds using an electric pallet jack when required; * Complete production and control reports; * Provide assistance to other departments as needed; * Conduct visual inspection of molds to identify potential defects before releasing them to production; * Measure paint density and record it on the trend chart; * Perform painting operations; * Receive molds after oven drying, prepare them, and transport them to the pre-determined location; * Ensure mold integrity during handling. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Incomplete elementary education. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * Food basket; * Medical assistance; * Dental assistance; * Partnerships with educational institutions; * Stationery; * Pharmacy; * Sesi Club; * Gyms; * Profit-sharing program (PLR). **Metalsider** is committed to being a responsible, ethical, and fair employer.
