Job Objective Perform layout, cutting, assembly, and finishing of metal parts (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and sheet metal in general), strictly adhering to technical drawings and tolerance standards. Carry out industrial assembly and installation tasks related to boiler-making (structures, bases, supports, protective enclosures, piping, and cylindrical bodies). Essential Activities Reading and interpretation of technical drawings (views, sections, projections, dimensions, and symbols). Layout, sheet metal development, and cutting (plasma, oxy-fuel torch, saw, etc.). Assembly and welding of metal structures and piping. Forming, bevelling, leveling, and rolling. Use of measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, protractor, level). Operation of material handling equipment (hoist, overhead crane, pallet jack). Desirable Course in Reading and Interpretation of Technical Drawings. Boiler-making course.
