Global company focused on innovation and sustainability Boilermaker Weir ESCO Betim \- MG Job Purpose: Assemble equipment following instructions from the immediate supervisor and based on technical drawings and process specification sheets, prioritizing delivery deadlines. Job Description:* Perform fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance of metallic structures, piping, and mining-related equipment using cutting, welding, and assembly processes in accordance with technical standards, drawings, and safety specifications; * Produce parts within dimensional tolerances specified in technical drawings to ensure product quality; * Read and interpret technical drawings and process specification sheets for parts to be produced; * Inspect parts to ensure dimensional and visual quality complies with specification standards (self-inspection); * Cut parts using oxy-fuel torches; * Align parts using optical levels or theodolites as required; * Safeguard the company’s technical assets (machines, tools, and drawings), ensuring confidentiality of information shared with external parties and competitors; * Prepare joints for welding using grinders; * Basic computer skills for training and time reporting via Weir Time 4\.0\.; * Comply with Duty of Care requirements (a document outlining individual and collective commitment to Health and Safety); * Safety first: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors in support of building a world-class safety culture. Requirements:* Completed high school education; * Basic computer skills (training and time reporting); * Proven experience as a boilermaker; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Electrode).
