Job Summary:
Responsible for promoting and protecting workers' health by diagnosing and treating occupational diseases and managing workplace health programs.

Responsible for promoting and protecting workers' health through diagnosis and treatment of occupational diseases, as well as implementing and managing workplace health programs. Technically manage medical activities within the company, bearing in mind that work is a means to ensure subsistence and human dignity, and must not cause illness or death. Responsible for planning and monitoring medical activities.
Responsibilities
\- Establish doctrinal guidelines and management models for medical activities within the company.
\- Supervise the administration and execution of occupational medicine activities.
\- Develop regulations and criteria for delivering medical care.
\- Propose new work modalities and technical actions arising from updates to legal requirements or scientific advances.
\- Inform company management about the need for medical departments to have adequate technical and material resources for proper functioning.
\- Ensure medical services are objective and high-quality, meeting company-established standards.
\- Prepare the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (NR\-07\) for the company.
\- Establish criteria for training professionals and other employees to effectively carry out assigned tasks in compliance with labor, social security, and public health legislation.
\- Ensure all data recorded in medical records are clear, concise, comprehensible, and free of personal abbreviations.
\- Maintain equipment under their jurisdiction in operational condition, taking necessary measures to avoid service interruption.
\- Provide medical assistance to workers independently of coordination and substitute the occupational physician when required.
\- Inform employers or their representatives about existing risks in the company and the general health status of workers via periodic reports.
\- Perform other related duties at the same level of complexity.
\- Conduct admission, periodic, return-to-work, job-change, and dismissal medical examinations.
\- Assess employees' physical and mental fitness for performing their duties.
\- Diagnose and treat occupational diseases and work-related accidents.
\- Refer workers to specialized treatment when necessary.
\- Develop and implement workplace disease prevention and health promotion programs.
\- Organize vaccination campaigns, nutritional counseling, and mental health activities.
\- Collaborate with the occupational safety team to identify and eliminate environmental hazards.
\- Advise on ergonomic adaptations to prevent injuries.
\- Deliver lectures and training on occupational health, first aid, and accident prevention.
\- Guide workers on safe and healthy practices in the workplace.
\- Maintain up-to-date and confidential medical records.
\- Prepare technical reports and expert opinions for regulatory and oversight bodies.
\- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
\- Provide technical consulting for worker rehabilitation and reintegration processes.
\- Classify persons with disabilities as PCD (Persons with Disabilities) for labor purposes;
\- Diagnose and report occupational diseases and work-related accidents, and arrange for physical and professional rehabilitation;
\- Support, verify implementation of, and manage the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO), as well as its Annual Report;
\- Issue occupational medicine activity reports;
Requirements and Qualifications
* **Medical Degree**, registered with the Regional Medical Council (CRM)
* **Specialization in Occupational Medicine** or equivalent course recognized by the Ministry of Health
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an Occupational Physician in medium- to large-sized companies
* In-depth knowledge of applicable **Regulatory Standards** (NRs) in corporate environments
* Proficiency in conducting admission, periodic, and dismissal medical examinations
Desirable
* Experience in **ergonomics** and occupational disease prevention
* Knowledge of **risk analysis** and action plan development
* Certification in **Occupational Safety** (e.g., CNES, INSS)
* Participation in continuous improvement projects for occupational health
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day
