Join our team as a Geotechnical Technician**!** **Key Responsibilities** * Perform instrument readings and record data in spreadsheets and control systems; * Visually inspect geotechnical structures, drainage systems, and access routes, subsequently documenting and reporting identified anomalies, as well as tracking their correction; * Support implementation of action plans for anomalies recorded during field inspections; * Operate automated geotechnical monitoring systems; * Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of geotechnical instruments and PAEBM sirens; * Ensure the integrity and reliability of data and information collected during geotechnical monitoring and inspections; * Prepare field reports when required and under the guidance of the responsible geotechnical engineer; * Support PAEBM-related activities under the coordinator’s guidance; * Plan, inspect, supervise, and oversee field activities carried out by third parties; * Perform administrative tasks inherent to conducting field activities and monitoring geotechnical structures; * Comply with internal procedures, technical specifications, and, above all, safety standards. **Requirements** * Completed Technical Course in Building Construction, Mining, Geology, Geotechnics, or related fields * Driver’s License Category B * Knowledge of mining geotechnics. * Knowledge of reading and interpreting geotechnical instrument data (piezometers, inclinometers, flow meters, reservoir gauges, total station surveying equipment, and displacement prisms). * Proficiency with computerized monitoring systems. * Basic knowledge of topography and georeferencing. * Experience with automated monitoring. * Ability to identify anomalies in geotechnical structures and propose corrective measures for observed conditions. **Desirable** * Additional courses in geotechnical monitoring; * Experience in operational activities related to tailings and waste rock disposal; * Specific training related to geotechnics and drainage; * Implementation of drainage and sediment containment systems. **Competencies** * Working safely * Cooperation * Discipline * Interest in the organization * Commitment to values * Initiative * Time and task management * Communication
