




Job Summary: Lead the development and maintenance of embedded electronic modules and controls/switches, ensuring compliance and supporting the Program Management team. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the development and maintenance of embedded electronic modules. 2. Manage program deliveries and ensure technical compliance. 3. Handle product lifecycle management and quality improvements. Lead and manage, with support from the Engineering Function teams (CTE for components), the development and maintenance of embedded electronic modules and visible controls/switches within the Components/Systems functional area, meeting quality, performance, timeline, and cost objectives. Ensure compliance with technical requirements and support the EES Program Management team in vehicle-line-specific activities; For maintenance-model assignments, activities will focus on product lifecycle management, including updates (facelifts, new powertrains), cost reductions, and quality improvements. Key Responsibilities **Manage program deliveries within your area (e.g.,** internal scorecards) and review/respond to bulletins, supported by Electrical/Electronic Engineering functions; Follow team standards for KPIs, internal controls, and presentations, per the Program Manager's guidance. Ensure clear and efficient communication and reporting throughout project development across all model team levels; Participate in pre\-development, handover, and definition phases with Engineering areas to define technical solutions, components/systems, and performance, timeline, and cost targets; Ensure timely availability and integrity of all engineering documentation required for procurement (sourcing packages); Monitor technical validation plans for ED (Engineering Design), DV (Design Validation), and PV (Process Validation), ensuring on-time completion and resolution of non-conformities; Ensure technical feasibility, project robustness, component manufacturability, and technical documentation compliance, coordinating with Engineering and suppliers as needed; Identify critical risks, deviations from design/test standards, and propose corrective actions; Collaborate with design leads to execute design/installation FMEAs and support process FMEAs; Provide documentation for implementation of technical modifications (ODMs / CCD / CNs), request economic evaluations, support approvals, and ensure release of technical drawings; Monitor production application of these modifications per schedule and procedures; Ensure necessary documentation for tooling release (TKO), software, and validations; Manage risk and issue assessments with support from Engineering areas; Ensure product structure release for Mules and PWB (mockups/benches), guaranteeing part delivery; Conduct or ensure diagnostic activities on systems/components and provide technical support to resolve assembly plant issues (from pilot phase through launch); Ensure compliance with internal system standards; Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, or Automation); Engineering experience; Advanced English proficiency; Strong problem-solving skills (responsibility, proactivity, initiative, logical reasoning); Leadership and strong interpersonal skills, especially in international environments; Ability to work independently and collaboratively; Adaptability to dynamic, fast-paced environments with minimal supervision; Logical and systemic thinking to address complex problems; Excellent program management and organizational skills; Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processors, presentation tools, databases); Availability and qualification to drive and test vehicles; Willingness to travel (occasionally); Preferred Qualifications Automotive industry experience; MBA or specialization in project management; Brazilian driver's license, Category B (minimum).
