Job Summary: The Workshop Assistant supports maintenance and inspections of mechanical and electronic systems in diesel vehicles, optimizing mechanics' time and ensuring service quality. Key Highlights: 1. Supports maintenance of mechanical and electronic systems in diesel vehicles. 2. Organizes tools and prepares work areas, following safety standards. 3. Contributes to service efficiency and quality, as well as customer satisfaction. The Workshop Assistant is responsible for assisting with low-, medium-, and high-complexity maintenance and inspections of mechanical and electronic systems in diesel vehicles. Works under the guidance of mechanics and supervisors, performing tasks such as tool organization, support during component assembly and disassembly, and preparation of work areas—all while adhering to safety standards. This role is essential for optimizing mechanics' time and ensuring service efficiency and quality, contributing to operational continuity and customer satisfaction. * Assist Mechanics I, II, III, and IV regarding mechanical / electronic systems; * Verify that all issues listed on the Service Order (SO) have been resolved, ensuring service quality and confirming that all replaced parts remain installed in the vehicle; * Inspect vehicles after maintenance completion, cross-checking against the workshop scheduling board and service description to correct anomalies and faults, and prevent service rework; * Maintain workshop organization, inspecting tool conditions and yard cleanliness to ensure a clean and orderly work environment; • Perform external workshop tasks, such as delivering or collecting parts or vehicles from third parties, to meet departmental demands; • Manage, safeguard, organize, and ensure availability and efficiency of tools, including tracking tool check-in and check-out; * Ensure workplace hygiene and safety; maintain organization, control, and upkeep of company assets.
