Responsible for performing all activities inherent to pharmaceutical care processes, including inventory movement and dispensing of materials and medications, ensuring accurate recording of all movements in the system, proper organization and control of inventory, and processing of data and/or information required for carrying out these duties. **Responsibilities and duties** * Understand and follow Work Instructions; * Maintain department organization (cleaning and organizing shelves, workbenches, drawers, and workstations); * Receive requests from physicians and nurses, respond accordingly, and communicate any uncertainties to the supervisor; * Receive medical/nursing prescriptions and/or nursing requests, and proceed with item selection, billing, and dispensing; * Receive, verify, and store materials and medications transferred between pharmacies; * Ensure completion of the Non-Standardized Medications form and preparation of the Health Insurance Authorization Form, if required; * Receive, verify, and record parenteral nutrition prescriptions, and notify nursing staff when the item is available; * Verify inventory levels of controlled medications as per Ordinance No. 344/98; * Hand over shift with correct inventory records; * Replenish workbenches and shelves for the next shift; * Deliver protocolled documents; * Verify whether nursing staff performed the required check of dispensed materials and medications; * Receive, verify, and store materials and medications transferred from the Pharmaceutical Supply Center; * Receive, verify, and process requests for returning unused materials and medications, and store them accordingly; * Identify inventory discrepancies based on medication dispensing reports; * Read and record ambient, refrigerator, and incubator temperatures; report temperature deviations whenever they occur, as needed; * Review the following day’s surgical schedule and prepare corresponding kits; * Prepare kits according to specified quantities for procedures conducted at SADT and outpatient clinics; * Restock crash carts immediately after each use; * Conduct monthly verification of crash carts to check expiration dates; * Complete shift handover logbook and/or checklist; * Directly inform the supervisor of pending issues and incidents occurring during the shift; * Apply contingency plans whenever necessary; * Alert supervision regarding material and medication consumption exceeding usual averages, and regarding stock depletion of specific materials or medications; * Resolve pending issues from the previous shift; * Perform rotating inventory audits; * Accurately complete records (temperature monitoring log, activity schedule, parenteral nutrition records); * Perform other related duties as requested; * Prepare sealed tape; * Comply with the monthly work schedule; * Fulfill requests from Stock 95 for satellite pharmacies; controlled medications as per Ordinance No. 344/98; * Record product write-offs for reasons specified in IT FAR 012; * Conduct expiration date verifications as per IT FAR 01; * Perform double-checks for Potentially Hazardous Medications; * Conduct daily counts of controlled medications; * Perform other related duties as requested. **Requirements and qualifications** Completed high school education.
