Job Summary: The Monitor ensures safety and efficiency in the operation of heavy and light vehicles, promoting zero accidents through testing, training, and indicator monitoring. Key Highlights: 1. Respond to contingencies, ensuring business continuity. **\- DISTRIBUTOR MONITOR \- AVAILABILITY FOR TRAVEL ACROSS BRAZIL** The Monitor plays a critical role in ensuring safety and efficiency in the driving performance of heavy and light vehicle drivers, promoting a zero-accident culture. The Monitor is responsible for administering practical and theoretical tests to driver candidates, delivering internal training on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) transportation safety, and monitoring safety indicators via TMS and telematics. Additionally, the Monitor directly contributes to reducing operational risks by identifying unsafe driving behaviors and implementing preventive and corrective actions, ensuring drivers comply with required safety and regulatory compliance standards. In contingency situations, the Master Driver may undertake trips and perform CNG compression and unloading procedures at customer sites, ensuring uninterrupted operations. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** · Administer practical and theoretical tests to candidates applying for Heavy-Duty Truck Driver positions. · Deliver internal training related to CNG transportation safety, including defensive driving, eco-driving, safety regulations, and operational best practices. · Ensure awareness of and adherence to safety regulations to reduce risks and achieve the zero-accident target. · Monitor and analyze safety indicators using onboard TMS and telematics systems. · Develop and update spoken route instructions to standardize transportation operations. · Conduct refresher training for drivers as needed, reinforcing safety and good driving practices. · Monitor unsafe driving behaviors (e.g., speeding, harsh braking, aggressive cornering, etc.) and propose improvements. · Collaborate with Logistics, Safety, and Maintenance departments to enhance processes and reduce operational risks. · Undertake trips and perform CNG decompression and unloading procedures at customer sites during contingency situations, ensuring operational continuity. · Conduct customer site visits to verify conditions along routes traversed by company equipment. · Perform route audits. · Accompany and assist drivers throughout all trip-related processes, including document completion, checklists, and other requirements. **REQUIREMENTS** · Completed High School education (Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Occupational Safety, or related fields preferred). · Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy vehicles. · Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency. · Knowledge of occupational safety and regulatory standards (NRs). · Ability to follow operational protocols and correctly use PPE. · Availability to work rotating shifts and flexible hours according to operational needs. · Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Truck Driver or as an Instructor for heavy vehicle drivers. · Knowledge and experience with telematics and onboard systems for safe driving control. **Technical Skills:** · Defensive and eco-driving. · In-depth knowledge of hazardous cargo transportation regulations. · Driver training and development. · Interpretation of safety and telematics indicators. · Use of TMS and telematics systems for performance analysis. **Behavioral Skills:** · Strong communication and teaching skills for training delivery. · Leadership and positive influence over the driver team. · Proactivity and focus on accident prevention. · Teamwork and alignment with safety and compliance policies. · Ability to act swiftly in contingency situations.
