Description: Professional responsible for carrying out and monitoring mine geology activities, from planning and executing sampling to analyzing and modeling geological data. Works on integrating field and laboratory information, quality control, and providing technical support to operations, processing, and planning areas, ensuring the accuracy of models and compliance with geological and metallurgical parameters. Responsibilities and duties * Plan, monitor, and record mine sampling, ensuring proper georeferencing of information (GPS). * Perform spatial analysis of samples and create geological maps using GIS and modeling software (Leapfrog, Datamine RM or similar). * Monitor granulometric and chemical results of samples (channel and drilling). * Prepare technical reports, operational procedures, and result presentations. * Monitor mine movements (via Fast2Mine / Power BI) and maintain geological databases up to date. * Conduct rapid volume calculations, geological mapping, and three-dimensional modeling of mineral deposits. * Estimate grades and define lithological contacts, contributing to mining quality control. * Monitor short-term drilling and mineral exploration activities, including lead time, description, and sampling. * Control stockpile and inventory volumes, ensuring traceability and accuracy of inventories. * Support process route testing, propose blends, and analytical methods for production control. * Train and develop the sampling team, promoting standardization and continuous improvement of practices. Requirements and qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Geology. * Active registration with CREA. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in mine geology or related fields. * Knowledge of geological modeling software (Leapfrog, Datamine RM) and GIS tools. * Experience interacting with Processing, Mine Operations, and Quality departments. * Willingness to reside in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. 2511150202461807275
