**WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON WHO:** * Pays attention to detail; * Is proactive and goal-oriented; * Has a sense of ownership and fosters good client relationships; * Possesses a sense of urgency and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**: * Performing monthly and annual tax closings, ensuring deadlines and accuracy of information. * Carrying out assessment and reconciliation of indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS DIFAL, RET, ISS, withholdings, IPI, PIS, and COFINS) under cumulative and non-cumulative regimes. * Preparing, reviewing, and submitting ancillary obligations (DES, MIT, EFD Contributions, REINF, EFD ICMS/IPI, SINTEGRA, and DCTFWeb). * Supporting internal and external audits by providing documentation and technical clarifications. * Monitoring and interpreting changes in tax and accounting legislation, suggesting procedural adjustments. * Engaging in tax planning and control, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation. * Participating in projects to improve and automate accounting and tax processes (ERP, BI, RPA). * Assisting and guiding analysts and assistants, ensuring the team's technical alignment. **Requirements and qualifications:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences. * Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Controllership, Finance, or Tax Planning. * Experience in medium to large industrial companies is desirable.
