





Description: Professional responsible for the development of capital projects in the mineral processing area, acting from conception to implementation and commissioning. Will be responsible for defining process routes, performing mass, water, metallurgical and energy balances, validating technical documentation and leading operational tests focused on efficiency, innovation and quality, ensuring compliance with the company's technical, environmental and safety standards. Responsibilities and duties * Prepare, validate and approve engineering technical documentation (flowcharts, P&IDs, calculation reports and drawings), ensuring compliance with engineering criteria and operational objectives. * Define process routes and perform mass, water and metallurgical balances focusing on technical and economic feasibility and production efficiency. * Coordinate and monitor capital projects (CAPEX) from conceptual phases through to implementation and commissioning. * Develop and optimize processing operations (crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, thickening, filtration, etc.), seeking improvements in recovery, consumption and sustainability. * Monitor operational KPIs such as metallurgical recovery, plant yield, reagent consumption and energy efficiency. * Conduct simulations and technical-economic feasibility studies to support strategic decision-making. * Integrate emerging technologies (Digital Twin, AI, computational simulations) for process innovation. * Ensure technical, environmental and safety compliance aligned with internal standards and policies. * Lead and guide technical teams, promoting training and professional development. * Collaborate with Planning and Integration, Construction and Assembly, Maintenance and Supply departments. Requirements and qualifications * Bachelor's degree completed in Mining, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering. * Postgraduate degree in Mineral Processing or related field (ongoing or completed Master's degree will be considered a differentiator). * Minimum of 6 years of experience in mineral processing and capital projects. * Proficiency in CAD, METSIM, USIM PAC, Project and Office 365 software. * Advanced English. * Knowledge of applicable mining regulations and process safety standards. 2511130202461804632
