Support for pharmacists and compounding technicians **Job Description:** The **Experienced Homeopathic Compounding Assistant** plays an essential role in compounding pharmacies, supporting the preparation and compounding of homeopathic medicines in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ANVISA (Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency) regulations. This professional is responsible for organizing, handling, and controlling raw materials and finished products, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and with the quality required in the pharmaceutical sector. The assistant’s work ensures that homeopathic medicines are produced according to technical, legal, and safety standards, promoting customer well-being. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Preparation of Homeopathic Medicines:** Assist in the compounding process of homeopathic medicines, performing weighing, mixing, and portioning of ingredients according to medical prescriptions and established formulas. Strictly adhere to **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)** and sanitary regulations, ensuring the efficacy and safety of compounded products. * **Inventory and Supply Control:** Organize and verify inventories of raw materials and medicines, ensuring all materials are properly stored, labeled, and identified. Maintain rigorous control over quantities, expiration dates, and storage conditions of supplies to ensure only materials within their validity period and in appropriate condition are used in compounding. * **Material Inspection:** Conduct periodic inspections of materials and compounded products, verifying conformity of raw materials such as medicinal plants, alcohols, solutions, and other substances. If any irregularity or non-conformance is identified, the assistant must immediately notify the responsible supervisor to take necessary corrective actions. * **Recording of Movements and Inventory:** Record all movements of materials and compounded medicines, updating inventory controls and conducting inventory counts in accordance with legal requirements and company standards. Ensure full traceability of all supplies and compounded products, guaranteeing accuracy of records. * **Workplace Safety and Hygiene:** Comply with all safety and hygiene standards established by the compounding pharmacy, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, masks, gowns, and other items as required.
