We are seeking a talent to serve as Procurement and Contracting Specialist for Distribution Network Services. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Responsible for developing strategic and tactical activities for the Supply Management Department and Coordination teams within assigned procurement categories; * Pursue optimal outcomes grounded in ethical values, ESG principles, cost and cash efficiency, high service levels, process excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement; * Ensure engagement with internal customers and suppliers, aligned with business and procurement & contracting strategy, specifically related to Grupo Equatorial’s Distribution companies. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Minimum 2–5 years’ proven experience in procurement and contracting, preferably in distribution, transmission, or infrastructure sectors; * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with contracting processes for construction, operation, and maintenance of substations; high-, medium-, and low-voltage power lines; energy generation, transmission, and distribution projects; and civil infrastructure; * Proficiency in high-complexity negotiations and contract management, including EPCs, Turnkey, BoP (Balance of Plant), Framework Agreements, and LPUs (Long-Term Purchase Agreements); * Familiarity with electricity sector regulations—particularly in distribution and transmission—as well as environmental regulations and sustainable procurement practices; * Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and high-pressure environments; leadership profile; * Advanced proficiency in procurement and contract management tools, such as ERP, MRP (SAP), and e-procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle, Coupa, and similar); * Knowledge of commercial levers for negotiations—including "Should Cost," "Spend Analysis," Kraljic Matrix, SWOT analysis, and Strategic Sourcing methodologies; * Analytical skills, ability to build managerial/executive dashboards, market analysis, commodity price fluctuations, financial trend/forecasting, and cost driver analysis; * Assessment of financial and reputational risks; * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. **Additional Information** Why apply: Joining Grupo Equatorial means becoming part of a growing company whose culture champions continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
