Responsibilities and Duties Conduct technical evaluations and supplier qualification—both for new suppliers and those already in our existing portfolio—ensuring ongoing compliance of components used in the manufacturing of wiring harnesses (terminals, cables, connectors, tapes, protective covers, etc.). Conduct process and quality audits at supplier sites, identifying risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement. Support suppliers in developing robust production processes, ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements (automotive, agricultural, industrial, etc.). Monitor supplier performance indicators (PPM, OTD, quality, production capacity, and response to crises). Participate in the analysis and approval of initial samples (PPAP, IMDS, APQP), ensuring that technical and engineering requirements are met. Track supplier action plans (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys), ensuring the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. Support the qualification of new materials and engineering changes related to wiring harness components. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies across the supply chain, promoting cost reduction, quality enhancement, and supply stability. Collaborate with internal teams (Quality, Processes, Procurement, Product Engineering, and PPCP) to resolve issues and develop new projects. Conduct technical visits to validate production capacity, special processes, and specific requirements for the electrical wiring harness sector. Prepare detailed technical reports, qualification opinions, and supplier development documentation.
