SANITATION CONTRACT MANAGER

Job Summary: A professional responsible for ensuring that sanitation contracts are executed on time, within budget, to required quality standards, and in accordance with contractual requirements, acting as the liaison between the client and the contractor. Key Highlights: 1. Administer sanitation contracts and ensure compliance with contractual clauses. 2. Plan and oversee the execution of sanitation construction projects. 3. Coordinate technical teams and ensure compliance with regulations. A professional responsible for ensuring that a sanitation construction and services contract is executed **on schedule, within budget, to required quality standards, and in compliance with contractual requirements**. They serve as the liaison between the client. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Contract Management** * Administer the contract signed with the client. * Ensure compliance with **contractual clauses, scope, timelines, and targets**. * Analyze and negotiate **contract amendments, price adjustments, and economic\-financial rebalancing**. * Manage contract measurements and billing. * **Operational Management of Construction/Services** * Plan and oversee the execution of construction works related to **water distribution networks, sewage systems, pumping stations, reservoirs, transmission mains, WTPs/WWTPs, etc.** * Control the **physical\-financial schedule**. * Coordinate engineers, technicians, supervisors, and field teams. * Ensure services adhere to **design documents, technical standards, and concessionaire specifications**. * **Financial Management** * Control **contract costs** (labor, equipment, materials). * Monitor **contract margin and profitability**. * Approve purchases, equipment rentals, and resource mobilization. * **Safety, Quality, and Environment** * Ensure compliance with **Occupational Safety regulations (use of PPE/collective protective equipment)**. * Monitor **quality and productivity indicators**. * Ensure compliance with **environmental permits and regulatory standards**. * **Client Relationship Management** * Participate in **client supervision meetings**. * Resolve non-conformities and align technical matters. * Present **contract progress reports and performance indicators**. * **Administrative Management** * Prepare **management reports**. * Monitor **monthly measurements and billing**. * Manage technical and contractual documentation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or Environmental Engineering. * Postgraduate degree in Project Management. **Additional Information** * Experience in basic sanitation projects. * Experience coordinating technical teams and managing engineering projects.
