Identify failures and assist in preventive maintenance The BMS Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and ensuring the proper operation of building automation systems—including HVAC, lighting, power, security, and other essential systems. This professional uses the BMS to supervise and optimize equipment operations, ensuring operational parameters remain within established limits, thereby achieving energy efficiency and occupant comfort. **Your responsibilities here:** * Monitor and control the building automation system (BMS) to ensure proper operation of HVAC, lighting, power, and security systems; * Perform operational adjustments within the system to optimize equipment performance and ensure energy efficiency; * Identify faults, anomalies, or deviations in monitored systems and alert maintenance teams for necessary corrective actions; * Generate and analyze system performance reports, reviewing energy consumption, temperature, and equipment operating conditions; * Assist in programming and adjusting schedules and parameters of automated systems according to building or facility requirements; * Carry out inspection and preventive maintenance routines, using the BMS to identify potential improvements and anticipate issues; * Keep graphical interface screens and system control records updated in accordance with equipment changes or configuration updates; * Support maintenance and engineering teams in problem identification and implementation of corrective actions; * Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical regulations during system operations; * Record incidents, generate reports, and maintain organized and up-to-date technical documentation. **What we are looking for:** * Technical diploma in Automation, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields is a plus; * Completed High School education; * Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, power, and building security systems is desirable; * Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainable practices is a plus.
