Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to work on the evolution of a complex platform, with emphasis on product, user experience, scalability, and technical quality. This person will play a key role in building new features, refactoring critical workflows, and strengthening the system’s technical foundation. Responsibilities: * Develop and enhance features in Ruby on Rails with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability; * Design and implement complex business logic; * Work with asynchronous processing using Sidekiq and Redis; * Model and optimize queries in Postgres; * Integrate and evolve search mechanisms with ElasticSearch; * Write automated tests using RSpec; * Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to the team’s code quality; * Collaborate with designers, front-ends, product owners, and QA engineers in solution development; * Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous platform improvements. Requirements: * Solid production experience with Ruby on Rails; * Sidekiq; * Redis; * Postgres; * ElasticSearch; * Experience with automated testing (RSpec or similar); * Best development practices (clean code, SOLID, design patterns); * Knowledge of REST APIs; * Experience with code versioning (Git); * Experience with Azure (deployment, managed services, storage, queues, etc.); * Experience with medium-to-large-scale applications. Nice-to-Haves: * Experience with multi-tenant systems; * Experience with SaaS products; * Knowledge of observability, metrics, and monitoring; * Experience in environments that emphasize quality and testing.
