Utility Operator I \- Botucatu/SP **At Givaudan, you contribute to creating unforgettable scent and fragrance experiences that delight and touch people's lives.** **Be part of an inspiring collaborative culture where you can grow, share ideas, and learn from talented and passionate people across different areas, regions, and divisions.** **Every aspect of your essence makes our world richer.** **Diversity is the driving force behind innovation and connects us even more closely with employees, customers, and partners.** **Here, we value and embrace differences and are committed to building a truly inclusive environment—where everyone has the opportunity to positively impact the world around us.** **Position Objectives:** Carry out activities in utility operations, wastewater treatment, ETE and ETA stations, waste disposal generated at the facility, boilers, cooling towers, and other utility equipment by activating buttons and controls, examining instruments and indicators, making adjustments to controls and mechanisms to properly adjust chemical dosages, ensuring smooth operation of water, sewage, and waste treatment processes according to required standards and specifications, working under occasional supervision. **Responsibilities:** * Perform activities in the Utilities area, inspecting equipment operation and identifying potential irregularities that could damage equipment or cause workplace accidents; * Carry out necessary procedures for water and sewage treatment operations, monitoring equipment, examining instruments and system indicators for water, sewage, and waste treatment, and adjusting process parameters as specified; * Operate the ETE, boiler, cooling towers, and other utility equipment by activating necessary buttons, examining instruments and indicators, and operating and regulating controls to maintain proper equipment operating conditions; * Control analysis parameters for effluent treatment, boilers, cooling towers, and drinking water, as well as perform visual monitoring and take control and balancing actions when necessary; * Monitor inventory levels of products used in effluent treatment, boilers, cooling towers, and drinking water, controlling product dosing for the process and solution preparation; * Filter physical, chemical, and biological waste and transport it to the company's waste yard; * Perform minor machine repairs when necessary, request maintenance services as needed, and report irregularities to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action; * Record information in appropriate forms at each stage of the process, documenting all variables occurring during the process by accurately and completely filling out records; * Carry out segregation, transportation, weighing, packaging, storage, and decontamination of waste containers according to their classification, and supervise waste loading for final disposal; * Keep your work area clean and organized, respecting environmental, health, and safety conditions, following specific procedures and schedules for task execution, and keeping your PPE in usable condition, sanitized, and stored appropriately; * Fill out records and reports and communicate shift events to the next operator; * Operate forklifts, tractors, and pallet jacks after completing internal forklift operator training; * Comply with and enforce internal regulations and requirements related to food quality and safety management systems; * Comply with and enforce internal regulations, environmental preservation system requirements, and health, hygiene, and safety rules and procedures relevant to the sector, as well as use PPE/CPE (Personal Protective Equipment/Collective Protective Equipment) when required by the activity; Perform other job-related duties or as directed by your immediate supervisor, provided you are qualified and such duties align with your knowledge and experience. * **Requirements:** * High school diploma; * Availability to work in Botucatu/SP on rotating shifts; * Experience in job functions; * NR13 boiler operation knowledge desirable; **At Givaudan, we value diversity and believe that a variety of perspectives enriches our workplace.
