Would you like to join our team? **Primary Location:** Brazil (BR) \- São Paulo \- Indaiatuba **Function:** Technology (CA) **Title:** Staff Software Engineer (SAP ABAP) \- Indaiatuba/SP \- 118478 As a Senior Software Engineer at John Deere in Indaiatuba/SP, you will be responsible for the end\-to\-end development, configuration, and testing of mission\-critical systems, with a heavy focus on SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori Technologies. You will translate complex business objectives into high\-performance software specifications, leveraging your understanding of SAP SD, Pricing, and Vistex configuration to drive architectural improvements. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Develop, code, configure, and test software programs and systems; * Evaluate and implement design enhancements to improve the cost\-effectiveness, quality, and performance of software applications; * Analyze assignments and define technical specifications required to achieve project objectives; * Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation as directed or required by the project scope; * Collaborate with stakeholders and cross\-functional teams to ensure that features align with business requirements; * Follow industry\-standard Agile methodologies for software design, development, and documentation; * Mentor junior software engineers on the team to support professional growth and code quality. **Skills You Need** ------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields; * Advanced English (broad vocabulary, strong grammar, able to lead meetings, argue, negotiate, and conduct training sessions); * Extensive hands\-on development and implementation experience with complex ABAP, SAP Fiori technology, and frameworks; * Expert\-level understanding of SAP SD and pricing configurations; * Hands\-on experience with Vistex configuration; * Extensive experience with SAP UI5; * Deep understanding of application development environments, database design, data management, and infrastructure capabilities/constraints; * Proven expertise in applying technical knowledge to complex situations, solving high\-level problems, and conducting technical research; * Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities and their remediation; * Advanced analytical, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile development methodologies; * Availability to work in a hybrid model, 3 times a week, in Indaiatuba/SP. **What Makes You Stand Out** ---------------------------- * Experience working with OData; * Experience working with BADIs and User Exits; * Experience managing support operations. **Our Key Benefits** * Variable compensation; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Eyewear benefit; * Vaccine reimbursement; * Corporate University; * TotalPass; * Depending on the location, you will have an on-site restaurant, meal voucher, or food allowance; * Pharmacy assistance; * And more \#LI\-Hybrid **Our Selection Process** Selection begins with your application; for some positions, additional tests may apply.
