Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society. **About the role** ================== Is responsible for installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations. This role performs a variety of maintenance and technical support tasks and may provide onsite training to customer support personnel. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously. **Key Responsibilities** * Provides technical assistance to customers, advising them on the proper use of Sulzer equipment; * Interprets technical drawings of equipment in general, performs simple dimensional and clearance calculations, prepares sketches for fabrication of fixtures, and converts measurements where necessary; * Torques parts and components according to the Sulzer Equipment Manual recommendations; * Removes and installs, operates, and maintains Sulzer equipment at customer sites; * Supervises Sulzer equipment commissioning and start-up activities, such as base leveling, pump/driver alignment, flange alignment/parallelism, sealing plans, among others; * Monitors, inspects, and validates base leveling through technical reports in accordance with Sulzer recommendations; * Performs on-site assembly and disassembly of equipment, guiding customers on actions to be taken during these activities; * Selects and identifies tools and equipment for assembling and disassembling Sulzer equipment; * Performs shaft alignment on vertical and horizontal pumps; * Conducts analyses and adjustments to the lubrication system when required, e.g., bearing flow rate adjustments; * Supervises and validates the flushing process and oil conditioning for ULF and HPU. **Required Skills** * Completed Technical or Engineering degree — active CFT or CREA registration; * Basic knowledge of pumps and rotating machinery; * Desired training as per legislation for this role: NR11, NR20, NR33, NR35, CBSP, THUET; * Advanced English and Spanish preferred; * Willingness to travel and work offshore (onboard). **What we offer you** ===================== Health, dental, and life insurance Meal, food, and public transportation allowances Wellness program and Gympass Profit and Results Sharing Program (PLR) Private pension plan Wide variety of learning opportunities Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
