The Import and Export Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's foreign trade operations, overseeing processes, managing documentation, analyzing costs, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations in both import and export flows. This role operates under direct supervision and collaborates with suppliers, transportation agents, and the logistics team to ensure process efficiency and regulatory compliance. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in managing and monitoring import and export processes, from initial order placement through final goods delivery. * Handle, verify, and maintain organized all documentation required for import and export processes, including commercial invoices, declarations, licenses, and records for filing and control. * Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements for foreign trade, staying updated on customs legislation. * Support customs clearance procedures as directed by the responsible team; * Collaborate with suppliers, transportation agents, and logistics supervisors to ensure efficient import and export operations. * Participate in pricing decisions for products and services by analyzing competitors and market trends. * Analyze costs associated with imports, such as freight, insurance, and taxes. * Generate reports on import performance, costs, and other relevant data. * Support the logistics department in organizing transportation and goods arrival. * Comply with internal procedures of both the contracting company and the client, including work-hour registration and reading institutional announcements. * Support logistics partners across all stages of import and export processes, including requesting issuance of invoices, flight reservations, and cargo release; * Provide operational support to international franchisees; * Support planning of logistics projects aimed at international expansion; * Track international courier shipments, as well as manage accounts with service providers; * Perform entries and controls related to financial statements and accountability reports; * Prepare export documents in accordance with legal and operational requirements. **Requirements:** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. * Prior experience in foreign trade routines. * Basic knowledge of customs legislation and understanding of import/export practices, including operational support within the area. * Basic English (desirable) * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
