We encourage individuals from various social groups to join our community so that, despite coming from such different origins and realities, we can nurture a shared desire to aim high and transform ourselves into better professionals and human beings—for ourselves and for the world. **Main Responsibilities** * Feed the **MES system** with production data (stops and deviations), ensuring process information is updated and reliable. * **Operate the control cabin of the continuous casting machine**, integrating it with management systems and monitoring operational parameters. * **Control and monitor machine operations and parameters**, evaluating alternative actions and consulting more experienced professionals when necessary. * **Perform equipment testing** and request preventive and corrective maintenance to avoid casting run losses and ensure casting quality. * **Prepare casting cars, troughs, emergency boxes, and secondary cooling systems**, ensuring productive flow and equipment cleanliness. * **Inspect molds and lubrication systems**, ensuring availability and productive performance. * **Start up the continuous casting machine** according to schedule, ensuring compliance with the production plan. * **Inspect the surface quality of billets**, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure final quality. * **Identify and track produced billets**, ensuring compliance with defined standards. * **Supply the area with required materials**, using appropriate equipment and following safety regulations. * **Support and execute activities related to the continuous casting process**, such as system preparation, receiving and preheating distributors, changing molds, and meeting production targets. * **Guide overhead crane maneuvers**, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. * **Pour molten steel** from ladle to distributor, controlling flow and ensuring proper filling of casting strands. * **De-slag the distributor** as needed, ensuring final product quality. * **Collect steel samples and perform temperature measurements**, ensuring chemical and physical conformity of the steel. * **Inspect the refractory lining of the distributor**, ensuring safe operating conditions. * **Perform oxy-cutting operational tasks** according to procedures and safety standards, ensuring compliance with the production plan. * **Conduct tool and equipment checklists** prior to operations, optimizing work execution. * **Prepare oxy-cutting machines, pressure gauges, and torches**, ensuring equipment availability and proper functioning. * **Participate in the analysis of operational anomalies**, providing technical input for solutions and preventing recurrence. * **Plan and execute scheduled job activities**, with partial autonomy and support from more experienced professionals when needed. * **Support less technically skilled professionals**, sharing knowledge and contributing to team development. * **Work alongside more senior professionals**, leveraging their experience for personal technical development. * **Execute and monitor work plans and departmental procedures**, ensuring achievement of established goals and objectives.
