Crusher Operator

Description

Responsible for operating the crusher control panel and actively participating in the aggregate production process. * Conduct daily inspections of the control panel and machinery to verify operational conditions and prevent unscheduled shutdowns due to lack of maintenance before the scheduled preventive maintenance; * Operate the crusher control panel daily for aggregate production, as raw materials/stones are extracted from mines and fed into the crusher according to the gradation specifications of each crushed stone; * When the maximum working hours are reached, perform crusher maintenance together with the Operations Supervisor, following the activity procedure to avoid equipment failures and production delays; * Weekly or as required, replace crusher components together with the Operations Supervisor, following the activity procedure to prevent component wear and subsequent equipment shutdown or operational delays; * Regularly clean and/or unclog the crusher, following the activity procedure, to avoid delays in task execution; * Daily inspect produced materials visually to ensure product quality complies with crusher gradation specifications, whether primary or secondary; * Record daily ohmmeter readings and other occurrences so that the controller/warehouse staff can log production data via the system, ensuring electrical monitoring and control of the machines; * Immediately notify the Operations Supervisor of any unforeseen incidents to enable prompt and effective decision-making; * Meet daily targets established by management to achieve better results and higher productivity, adhering to company-established procedures; * Daily comply with established safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adopting safe practices during all activities to ensure the safety of performed tasks.
