Continuous improvement in new technologies Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of fiber optic communication networks, ensuring systems operate with high performance, reliability, and in compliance with company standards. Collaborate on regular inspections of fiber optic networks, identifying potential issues or failures. Perform physical installation of fiber optic cables at designated locations, following technical standards and specifications. Conduct fiber optic testing to verify signal quality using equipment such as OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), ensuring compliance with performance standards. Diagnose and resolve fiber optic-related issues, such as attenuation, dispersion, and connectivity failures. Perform preventive maintenance on fiber optic systems to identify and correct potential problems before they affect signal quality. Provide technical support to customers and end users regarding fiber optic network connectivity and performance, offering assistance and guidance to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with project teams in developing plans and strategies for fiber optic network expansion, upgrades, and optimization, contributing technical insights and expertise to new project development. Participate in internal and external training to enhance technical skills and stay updated on new technologies and standards. Maintain detailed records of all installations, splices, tests, and interventions performed on fiber optic systems. Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and other teams to ensure efficient integration of fiber optic systems with other components. Ensure all fiber optic-related activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Identify and label fiber optic cables clearly and consistently to facilitate future maintenance, system expansion, and troubleshooting.
