All applications must be submitted exclusively through our official channels. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and guide the updating of statistical accident control to ensure compliance with NBR\-14280; * Plan and guide occupational safety engineers in delivering mandatory training programs to ensure adherence to the training schedule; * Plan, monitor, and guide activities related to Hazardous Agent Monitoring to ensure compliance with M.T.E.’s NR 15; * Monitor and provide information related to the Risk Management Program to competent authorities, ensuring reliable data for PCMSO development and legal compliance; * Ensure adherence to the INMETRO schedule and requirements at the fire extinguisher maintenance workshop, maintaining the company’s workshop certification; * Advise the legal department on matters related to Safety and Occupational Hygiene to ensure reliable information for preparing defenses in judicial proceedings; * Guarantee the investigation process for personal, non-personal, property, and environmental incidents within the company, ensuring root cause elimination and prevention of recurrence; * Monitor and guide activities related to updating applicable legislation in health, safety, and occupational hygiene to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements; * Monitor and guide budget preparation for the department, systematically control expenditures, and promptly correct identified deviations; * Ensure team monitoring and development, as well as continuous process improvement, guaranteeing achievement of corporate goals; * Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with customers, suppliers, communities, and public and private agencies and entities to support and enhance the company’s institutional image; * Process improvements; * Manage opex and capex costs for the department; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s Degree (relevant field) * Postgraduate Specialization in Occupational Safety * Professional Registration with CREA\-Regional Engineering Council * Intermediate English proficiency * Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH) \- Category B * Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency * Knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NR) for Occupational Safety and Health; * Experience in Accident Analysis and Risk Analysis; * Knowledge of Occupational Safety Legislation; **Additional Information** * Competitive salary * Profit Sharing Program (PLR) * Private Pension Plan * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * On\-site meals (at operational units) * Meal Voucher (at offices) * Food Allowance * Transportation assistance * Quality of Life Program * Gympass – Wellhub * Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave (Citizen Company) * Club Membership Benefit \- may vary by location * Eyeglasses Purchase Assistance for family members * Willingness to reside in Pilar \- Bahia. #### **We are ERO, one of Brazil’s leading copper and gold producers.** **We belong to a global group headquartered in Canada with a strong presence in Brazil.
