Responsible for administering, monitoring, and enhancing network security controls, with a focus on firewall management, ensuring protection of the corporate environment against cyber threats and continuity of services. Will operate more autonomously in creating, reviewing, and optimizing firewall rules, analyzing security events, investigating incidents, and improving security architecture. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage, review, and optimize firewall rules and policies; * Monitor and analyze security events, proactively identifying risks; * Perform log analysis and investigate medium-complexity security incidents; * Respond to incidents and support containment and remediation plans; * Implement continuous improvements to network security controls; * Support audits and ensure compliance with security policies and standards; * Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security of implemented solutions. **Requirements:** * Solid experience administering firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or similar); * Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, VLANs); * Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools; * Practical knowledge of information security (vulnerability management, hardening, best practices); * Ability to work with greater autonomy and critical thinking in decision-making. **Preferred Qualifications:** * + Certifications in the field (e.g., NSE 4\+, CCNA Security, Security\+); + Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS; + Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP); + Experience with structured incident response processes.
