Requirements: The **Engineering/Banking** area, responsible for end-to-end banking client support—from maintenance to customization—is looking for a **Senior Developer | Java and SQL** to join our team at Brazil’s largest software and financial-market product development company, where we believe technological innovation inspires progress. **This role is responsible for:** * Coding and Implementation: Writing clean, efficient, and high-quality source code to develop new features and enhance existing systems, aligned with project needs and requirements; * Testing and Debugging: Conducting tests to ensure proper software functionality, identifying and resolving bugs and performance issues using sound testing practices such as unit and integration testing; * Collaboration and Code Review: Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality solutions—participating in planning meetings, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to team development standards; * Technical Documentation: Preparing technical documentation to describe features, workflows, data structures, and architectural decisions—ensuring other teams can understand and maintain the code in the future; * Requirements Analysis and Task Planning: Participating in requirement-gathering meetings with business analysts, stakeholders, or the Product Owner to understand system needs and assist in planning feature implementation; * Participation in Code Reviews: Conducting code reviews to ensure produced code follows development best practices, aligns with team standards, and maintains high quality; * Performance Optimization: Identifying and improving code bottlenecks by optimizing performance—whether regarding execution time, memory usage, or system scalability; **To be a #match for this position, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:** * Solid experience in Java (v8 and v11); * Experience with Spring and JavaFX; * Experience with SQL Server (Procedures / Functions) for query creation, data manipulation, and performance optimization; * Front-End skills (Angular JS); * Experience with code versioning tools (Git); * Knowledge of CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD), such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI, to ensure an efficient and continuous workflow; * Completed undergraduate degree; **The following qualifications would be considered advantageous:** * Knowledge of the financial market, specifically credit; * Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban; * Knowledge of generative AI; * Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; * Practical knowledge of development methodologies; * Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito). **IMPORTANT**: This opportunity is a CLT employment contract, fully remote, focused on supporting one of our clients.
