The Challenge Assume a strategic technical role responsible for maintaining, evolving, and strengthening a microservices environment—including APIs and complex integrations—ensuring performance, scalability, and security: foundational pillars of our business. Responsibilities and Technical Scope * Technically lead the maintenance and evolution of Python-based systems (Falcon). * Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices, integrating multiple domains across the ecosystem. * Work with PostgreSQL, optimizing queries and data modeling for high performance. * Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and TDD. * Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, ensuring secure and versioned environments. * Apply security practices, authentication, and encryption—including JWT and OAuth2\. * Handle observability by configuring metrics, structured logs, and alerts for critical services. * Serve as a technical reference, conducting code reviews, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring. * ️ Technical Requirements * Proficiency in Python, Falcon, and microservices architecture. * Solid experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and versioned migrations. * Advanced knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, EKS) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). * Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or similar). * Practical experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and LocalStack. * Knowledge of cryptography, JWT, OAuth2, and API security best practices. * Strong analytical ability, technical leadership, and decision-making skills. Differentiators * Prior experience in fintechs, digital banks, or payroll-deductible lending systems. * Familiarity with compliance, audits, and data traceability. * Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
