The Materials Analyst analyzes and optimizes material management processes, handling procurement planning, demand analysis, supplier negotiation, transportation monitoring, storage, and inventory control—ensuring the availability of materials required for production. Conducts demand analysis, monitors material receipt and distribution, and contributes to optimizing logistics processes. This professional collaborates closely with other company departments to ensure the efficiency and quality of materials used.
* Control material inventory by recording receipts and issues in the system.
* Analyze material demand, forecasting needs and preventing shortages.
* Monitor material receipt, verifying compliance with specifications.
* Participate in preparing reports and performance indicators for the materials department.
* Contribute to optimizing logistics processes to reduce costs and lead times.
* Conduct periodic inventories to verify inventory accuracy.
* Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure continuous material supply.
