Guides research and development of new recipes Supermarket seeks a Bakery Supervisor in Porto Alegre. **Responsibilities:** Daily defines production volumes for bread and pastries based on the quantity and variety of displayed products, disposal of expired goods, customer demand for the period, or instructions from superiors. Establishes quantities per product type and informs the Bakery and Pastry teams for execution. Remains attentive to the condition of products displayed to the public in its area, monitoring expiration dates, packaging presentation, correct pricing, etc., aiming for excellent customer service and satisfaction. Guides removal of products for disposal or correction of issues. Ensures safety during production in the area by monitoring proper use of PPE, equipment, and utensils used by bakers and assistants; requests maintenance when necessary; orders supplies; trains subordinates; participates in personnel management processes (hiring, transfers, promotions, dismissals); and maintains order, hygiene, and discipline in the area to ensure optimal performance and contribution to company results. Periodically evaluates Bakery and Pastry department results and prepares reports for review by superiors regarding area performance. Occasionally guides the team in researching and developing new bread and pastry recipes based on customer demand or need to diversify products to enhance service satisfaction and store performance. Evaluates results and authorizes production. Supervises up to 8 Assistants. Performs other duties related to the position as directed by superiors. Previous experience as Bakery Supervisor, Bakery Manager, Bakery Coordinator, or Bakery Head may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
