Operate the most complex processes involved in steam production and cooling systems, independently carrying out technical activities related to measuring, treating, and monitoring chemical products, as well as the water and effluent treatment plant, thereby ensuring proper operation of machinery and equipment and sector productivity. Act as an agent for the development of other team members within the area by providing support and training, with the objective of standardizing processes and ensuring delivery quality. **Responsibilities and Duties** Measure chemical dosages and calculate concentrations; Operate pumping systems and control the operation of fixed machinery; Operate equipment in the steam generation area, managing water, air, and biomass controls to produce steam meeting quality and safety standards; Bring the boiler into operational mode, performing all biomass (conveyor belt) and water maneuvers following the logical startup sequence for a boiler; Prepare machinery and equipment for operation and independently control boiler operation and water quality; Operate the steam production process and cooling system during your shift, verifying equipment operation, assigning tasks to be performed, and supervising operators’ work to ensure their productivity and safety; Operate boilers, cooling towers, chillers, water and effluent treatment plants with high autonomy; Prepare daily production and quality reports to identify deviations from production process standards, enabling corrective actions and reporting to the Utilities Team Leader and Supervisor; Perform daily inspections of department equipment to identify potential failures, reporting them to maintenance departments, the Utilities Team Leader, and Supervisor; Complete forms, checklists, and similar documents; Prepare reports on incidents occurring during your shift, passing relevant information to the next shift; Prepare reports containing steam production data, water production data, chemical treatment data, and machine downtime hours with moderate autonomy, for overall production monitoring and control purposes; Guide other team members in your area regarding company regulations, work procedures, safety protocols, and other job-related matters; Identify and assess causes of equipment malfunction to arrange necessary repairs as quickly as possible; Ensure organization, hygiene, and cleanliness of work areas to maintain a suitable working environment; Carry out job responsibilities while complying with all occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures established by the organization, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for performing job and departmental duties.
