Analysis of market trends and consumer behavior Responsible for conducting market analysis, negotiating with suppliers, and managing purchases of products intended for resale, seeking to ensure optimal cost\-effectiveness, product availability, and company profit margin. **Key Responsibilities:** Plan and execute product purchases for resale according to the defined product mix and store/unit demand. Conduct quotations and negotiate price, delivery terms, commercial and logistical conditions with suppliers. Monitor sales performance indicators, inventory turnover, and profit margin to support purchasing decisions. Track product lifecycle (entry, shelf life, and exit) to prevent overstock or stockouts. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competition, proposing new products or adjustments to the product mix. Register and maintain up-to-date product and supplier information. Attend trade fairs, events, and technical visits to prospect new suppliers and business opportunities. Track purchase orders through to delivery, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with Commercial, Logistics, Finance, HR, and Marketing departments to align strategies and promotional activities. Support preparation of managerial reports and presentations for decision-making. **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. Prior experience in procurement, preferably within retail or distribution companies. Knowledge of supplier negotiation. **Technical Skills:** Advanced Excel. Basic understanding of pricing and resale margin calculation. Knowledge of inventory turnover analysis and ABC curve analysis is a plus.
